Hi folks!

Thanks for dropping by. I assume you’ve clicked on this section to find out more about yours truly – background, work experience, favorite salad dressing, that sort of stuff. Alright then, here we go…

My working life began with a stint in consumer packaged goods marketing back in Germany, which left me a little, shall we say, down and disillusioned. I was in need of some vocational therapy. So, I hung up my marketing boots in exchange for some thongs (Australian for flip-flops) and succumbed to the lure of sun, surf and deadly fauna by moving Down Under, where I eventually took up a career in advertising.

Over the past 17 or so years, I’ve worked at agencies including JWT Sydney, Leo Burnett Sydney, Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami and Saatchi & Saatchi New York, leading creative teams and helping to impact change in consumer behavior across a vast range of brands and products – from fast food to fast cars, corn flakes to flaky scalp relief.

As the Executive Creative Director at We Are Unlimited in Chicago, I was responsible for leading the creative output of one of the world’s most iconic brands – McDonald’s – and in the process helped turn a fledgling agency into the most awarded in Chicago.

Which brings me to my pastime activities. I’m not a fan of writing bios, but I do love travel, roller coasters and wine. Red, white, pink, orange… all good. In moderation, mind you, or else I’ll start lamenting my failed marketing days.

That’s me in a nutshell. If you’d like to know more, feel free to click on the LinkedIn button below, or drop me a line via the Contact page. Cheers!

PS: It’s honey-mustard.
